2024 Peterson School Scholarship Application

Chapter 3 has once again partnered with the Peterson School for 2024. This partnership creates an opportunity for 2 members to win a scholarship to the Peterson School. Also, members in good standing who are not awarded the scholarship are still eligible for a discount to the Peterson School simply for being a member.

Applications are due in the Union offices no later than June 30, 2024 at 5 pm to be considered.

2024 Officer and Advisory Board nomination and appointment results

Chapter 3 tri-annual officer and advisory board nominations were held at the April 2024 meeting.

Results are as follows:

Officers

Incumbent Chapter President, Anthony Donovan, ran unopposed and re-elected for 3 more years

Incumbent Chapter VP, Michael Morris, ran unopposed and re-elected for 3 more years

Chapter Secretary, vacant, Shane Lamber ran unopposed and elected

Advisory Board members

Incumbent Michael LaFrance, ran unopposed and re-elected for 3 more years

Incumbent Comlangan Adjindah, ran unopposed and re-elected for 3 more years

Vacant position, no candidate

Appointments

Vacant advisory Board Position - during the May 22, 2024 membership meeting, member Said Lazaar, from BTE, expressed his desire to serve the members of the union on the Advisory Board. After discussion, it was determined that Brother Lazaar possesses a strong desire to serve the members, a commitment to the Labor movement and desire to affect positive change. President Donovan appointed Said Lazaar after a vote of the advisory board.

2024 Brassil - Flanagan Scholarship winners

The 2024 Brassil - Flanagan Scholarship winners were drawn on May 22, 2024, during the Chapter Membership meeting. Two $1,000.00 winners were selected, congratulations to our members and their children!
